Celebrating personal discordia and spiritual anarchy.

"Anarchy is not intended to be sustainable. It is not a system of government, a codified list of rules and beliefs, or a mind set geared toward cultural constructivism. It is a spark, a flash, a small flame that ignites a paradigm-obliterating explosion. It is destructive by nature. It lies dormant and, like diesel fuel, can only be ignited by tremendous pressure. It deconstructs. It strips flesh from bone and grinds bone to dust. It is doomed to consumption in the conflagration instigated by its own primal spark. It is a catalyst. It is tinder. It is powder and fuse."

Inhale Before the Plunge

It is eerily calm. My occult sources tell me that we are in a lull, an outgoing of the tide prior to a tsunami. Take a breath. Get your shit together. The wave is coming back. This one is going to bring some real change with it, I'm afraid. We all die eventually, right? Why sweat the small stuff now? These are epic time. We are about to become cemented, along with the events of this age, in the mythology of the next Era. We are the Atlanteans. We are the Toltec. We are the Mayan. We are those friggin American colonists that settled in the friggin Southern swamps. We are the denizens of Easter Island. We are about to be moved up on our own endangered species list, from a cosmic perspective of course. Geez. This is gonna suck a little. I wonder who will play me in the Lifetime version?

I-phone culture, Facebook world

"It is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong."
Voltaire (1694 - 1778)

“We are rapidly entering the age of no privacy, where everyone is open to surveillance at all times; where there are no secrets from government.”
William Orville Douglas

We are about to make a grand mistake here. We are entering into something far more insidious and soul killing than humanity has witnessed at any time in any recorded history. Technology has finally evolved to the point that it easily facilitates the dream of past dictators, completely and irrevocably. It is, and will be, implemented to produce further subjugation of the masses. None of us will escape it fully…here’s the catch; we are doing it to ourselves willingly and efficiently. We are lining up for it. No one will force us into technological serfdom; we will stand in line for it.

What happens to those that refuse? I dunno, let’s see shall we? I'll post the results on Facebook.

Shiver me timbers

Why would anyone believe the words, when it is evident they are a smokescreen to cover retreat? Words, as generators and purveyors of meme and diatribe, are powerful, viral communicators of prescribed mythos. Say what you wish and we will believe. Say what you wish though your incongruent actions speak volumes to the contrary. All is well. All is well. Something smells. Your floral scented words do not mask the decay; merely draw attention to it by marking it in space and time. I wonder…is this volitional or are you merely convinced by the sound of your own staccato voices? Things are about to get rough on a global scale. You know. We know. I hope you can handle the ramifications. I was actually born for this. Bringers of the Plague, we are finally on the same page.

Illusion and leadership.

Mr. President, I am glad the fire is out. I am thrilled that we are pulling the whole flaming economy away from the abyss. I am happy really...if that is really the case. It's just this damn nagging feeling in my gut, telling me that you are spreading a thick layer of putrid dog shit on this onion sandwich and are pacifying a collective gagging by telling us to hold our noses and believe it is really honey-butter. I'm just sayin. I don't believe you. I don't believe your wife. I don't believe your advisors. Fuck, I don't believe anyone in Washington. You did this to us. You all made this happen. See, I'm just beginning to realize that you and your constituents are the geeks, dweebs, dorks and wannabe hall monitors we grew up with in high school. Mr. President, when we realize that you, and all elected officials, have about the same power to tell the rest of us what to do as our student body officers had in dictating school policy in high school, we are gonna fire up the wedgie machine...you rule by our collective consensus, and we outnumber you a ten thousand to one. This is going to chafe.

Steady

"Rock in the stream. That's the appropriate posture. Steady. Steady. Look forward and watch the world careen past, stay rooted to the creek bed. Observe. Think. Don't react. Breathe. Everything is as it should be, even my heart tells me of the necessity of my choices. Stay the course. Sit in confidence. Trust God.

Zeus as Geneticist

"[Primeval man] could walk upright as men now do, backwards or forwards as he pleased, and he could also roll over and over at a great pace, turning on his four hands and four feet, eight in all, like tumblers going over and over with their legs in the air; this was when he wanted to run fast …Terrible was their might and strength, and the thoughts of their hearts were great, and they made an attack upon the gods ... Doubt reigned in the celestial councils. Should they kill them and annihilate the race with thunderbolts, as they had done the giants, then there would be an end of the sacrifices and worship which men offered to them; but, on the other hand, the gods could not suffer their insolence to be unrestrained. At last, after a good deal of reflection, Zeus discovered a way. He said: 'Methinks I have a plan which will humble their pride and improve their manners; men shall continue to exist, but I will cut them in two and then they will be diminished in strength and increased in numbers; this will have the advantage of making them more profitable to us. They shall walk upright on two legs, and if they continue insolent and will not be quiet, I will split them again and they shall hop about on a single leg.'"
—Aristophanes, Plato’s Symposium,
